Girly Girl Nails, Kinda Bestie Nails.

Since I started stamping in 2010 and joined facebook and AIS, I have been so blessed to meet so many amazing girls and 1 man who loves nail art as much as I do.
3 of these girls also make amazing stamping plates and stamping polishes, that I just love. Johanne the amazing talented nail artist behind Fab Ur Nails and the FUN plates. Her nail art is always breathtaking and I know I am not the only one who gets inspired by her nail art.  Then there is Shirley the sweet girl behind Dashica and Infinity Nails plates and Dashica stamping polishes that I LOVE. And lastly Ghislaine the master mind behind the Marianne Nails plates. I love spending time on facebook and chatting with all three of these ladies. We always talk about nails, our kids, life in general, just what ever pops in our mind. Mind you these aren't the only ladies I love talking to.... I love my fellow AIS admins T.I. Rex, Precious, Helen, Debbie, Sarah and Malinka. I so hope I can meet you all one day. So glad I get to share all the ups and downs (when drama happens) with you ladies.  And then there is Kelly (for just being the awesome lady that you are), Becky ( for all the PM's you have sent when I was having a rough time), Pamela H (for letting me ask you so many questions about having a kid with Autism), Stacie (you always make me laugh with your jokes), James (just love ya for being a man and loving nail art as much as us ladies and you're so amazing and kind too), Angela L (for playing the game and talking about nail stuff while we do things ingame) , Priscilla (always so sweet), Tamira (who loves Korean dramas like me) and Gwendolynne (who I can talk about nails and food, we're both foodies) that I just love to chat with too.

I wanted to do these nails to each and every one of you, I feel so lucky to have met all of you. I wish you all the best for your and your loved ones.

Now back to the nails part, I painted my nails with Sinful  Colors Thimbleberry
Then I used Fab Ur Nails FUN 12, Marianne Nails n22, MoYou Tourist Collection 03 and stamped the images with Dashica stamping polishes in Pastel Pink and Black.

Holographic Nails The Perfect Cure For When You're Feeling Down.

Had a bit of a rough time the last week, so I needed a break from online from facebook, youtube, twitter etc to pick my self back up. Almost back to my normal self, so I did my nails for some nail therapy to make me feel better. And for me it has to be something holographic, I just go nuts for holos guess they are my other weakness after my stamping plates.

Anyways on to the nails, the products I used:
Catrice Karl Says Tres Chic with 2 thin coats of Jade Irresistivel. Image is from MoYou Mother Nature 01 stamped with Dashica black.
Too bad the camera on my phone didn't pick up the whole holo effect. Because in person it's just STUNNING. But I have always had some issues of getting amazing pictures of holo polishes on my nails.

Other nail related stuff, I am in the works of setting up a collaboration nail art video with an other amazing youtube nail guru. I don't want to tell you anymore than that just now, because we are still trying to figure out what to do and all.

Hope you all have a great day.

Stamping Test: MoYou London

Happy New Year!!! I hope my dear followers had a nice Christmas holiday with their loved ones. We tried our best to make it a nice Christmas for our kids, and they were happy with their gifts and Christmas stockings so think  we did ok.
As promised when I got my MoYou London order that was my Christmas present from my parents, here is my stamping test video of these plates. I recorded and edited it yesterday, I didn't want to stamp on my nails and remove it a few times to get all the images on my nails. So most of them I only pick them up with the stamper without stamping the images onto my nails. The cold winter here in Salt Lake is really hard on my nails and cuticles this year. I am using hand lotion, cuticle oil and vitamin E oil on my hands and nails several times a day. Any of my dear followers have the same problem? My right hand nails are chipping and flaking more than my left hand, so right hand nails are just stubs....

So what are my thoughts about these plates??? All of the images I tried got picked up on my stamper just perfectly. Didn't have any problems with partial images at all, on one of the images the stamper slipped out of my fingers and got on the floor. So the stamper picked up some lint from the carpet on the floor. Right now after just using the Festive Collection -04 and doing the testing I have to say I am really impressed by these plates. I think I have a new favorite brand of plates, but I still love my Dashica and FUN plates, but the reason why these plates is at top of my list is because of these amazing looking plates that looks like a piece of art. I don't want to store them away, they're so pretty. I want them to be on display... LOL.  I want to get more MoYou plates later on, and that wish list is getting longer.

I can't wait to use one of these plates for my next tutorial, I just need to decide what plate to use first.....

I will try and get better with blogging this year, and make more youtube videos. Until next time thanks for stopping by.

Christmas Sweater Nails.

I got my first plates from MoYou and one of them is filled with Christmas/Winter sweater nails. So I wanted to my nails with that plate. I painted my nails with Nubar Emerald and Romanticism Ruby from Finger Paints. Then on my ring finger I did one coat of Sinful Colors Gold Medal and topped it off with a coat of OPI Goldeneye. I used Konad White to stamp with and MoYou Festive Collection plate 04, and picked 2 images for the green and red nails.
Oh, and for you who are wondering what topcoat I use it's Poshe Fast drying topcoat. I like that one way better than Seche Vite. I signed up for a group buy for a XL stamper from Magno with some replacement heads. I removed the white stamper insert and out in one of  the red replacements instead. Makes it so much easier to see the white or light polishes when you stamp. It's XL and soft and squishy. And of course easier to show up on camera when I make video tutorials.
Then on my ring finger I picked out red and green rhinestones and placed them in a circle.
And there some easy festive Christmas sweater nails were done.
