Christmas Sweater Nails.

I got my first plates from MoYou and one of them is filled with Christmas/Winter sweater nails. So I wanted to my nails with that plate. I painted my nails with Nubar Emerald and Romanticism Ruby from Finger Paints. Then on my ring finger I did one coat of Sinful Colors Gold Medal and topped it off with a coat of OPI Goldeneye. I used Konad White to stamp with and MoYou Festive Collection plate 04, and picked 2 images for the green and red nails.
Oh, and for you who are wondering what topcoat I use it's Poshe Fast drying topcoat. I like that one way better than Seche Vite. I signed up for a group buy for a XL stamper from Magno with some replacement heads. I removed the white stamper insert and out in one of  the red replacements instead. Makes it so much easier to see the white or light polishes when you stamp. It's XL and soft and squishy. And of course easier to show up on camera when I make video tutorials.
Then on my ring finger I picked out red and green rhinestones and placed them in a circle.
And there some easy festive Christmas sweater nails were done.

Precious Stones Challenge

The challenge this Sunday in AIS is precious stones, so precious stone colors,  images and so on. I decided to use one of my Nubar polishes from the gem collection Amethyst as base color and use Pure Ice Silver Mercedes to stamp with. I used 2 images from Dashica XXL Big SdP 1, one for each hand.... Yup, I know my hands don't match. Bit just so you know I am not the only one who does this. Several of the ladies in each of my nail groups on FB do it too.

Just not liking the fact that the pictures don't show the real color that well. I hate it when that happens, don't you??? I had to double check after I saw the top picture if I had grabbed Sapphire instead, but no it said Amethyst on the bottom. So so much for showing the stunning Amethyst color on my nails.......

Hearts and zippers.

My nails and my Skin 79 BB cream. Love BB creams.

On other note, yesterday was my son's 6 year old birthday. Was nice and relaxed, he got Hot wheels and a bubble machine & money from my folks back home. Then of course pizza, chips, lollipops. No point in trying cake or ice cream on him, he runs away from it NOOOO!! Yeah, you read it right I have a kid that runs away from cakes, cookies and ice cream and most sweets. Tho he is a huge chip monster. Then his little  sister tried to take his Hot wheels, but he was nice and gave her one to hold on to. Talking about that little lady, she is starting a new fashion trend Layering. Yesterday I put on her Hello Kitty t-shirt and a skirt, then she wanted a dress on top of that and then one of her brother's t-shirts with Nintendo characters on it. Needless to say that was a bit too big so it looked like  green dress on her, then her white sandals.  She was very happy with her look.

Have a great week!!

Hope you all have an amazing & safe Independence Day..

So are all my American readers getting ready for tomorrow? We just have a few more things we have to hit the store for tomorrow's menu. I  am going to make a feast with out care pack from Omaha Steaks, then take it easy and watch fireworks around our home. Will just be us and grandma and a bunch of food.

I have had a few 4 th of July celebrations over here, and my least favorite was Arizona. Was way too hot, to be outside. My favorite one was when hubby and I drove up from AZ to St. George UT with a big ice chest filled with homemade burgers, hotdogs to see his best friends Seth and his family. I had some Norwegian candies for his kids, and Seth and Kev went nuts getting fireworks. We had an amazing day with them.
An other one was when we lived in Long Beach and we walked down to the beach and it was crowded with  happy people, and we had the perfect view of the fireworks. Fireworks, beach and the ocean can you really beat that??

Anyways, I did my nails and they are ready for tomorrow. I used 2 colors from Nubar Ruby and Sapphire, then I was bummed that I didn't have an image plate with a full image with simple stripes. So I went digging for my white Striper polish, and it was all dried out. I don't know what it is up here in UT. But I have noticed that polishes dries out after a few months. Makes it hard to make a collection of polishes here, even the ones I got 2-3 months have gotten thicker. I have a polish thinner, but it's getting low. Anyone else have this problem??
But back to my 4 th July mani, only image I found that had stars and some stripes was this angled French image on my Dashica XXL Big SdP1. So I decided to use that with Konad White. Granny likes my nails and so does little Grace. She pulls on my hand and fingers to get a closer look at my nails and then she pulls on my nails like she's trying to pull them off......
She is saying a few words these days she says shoo and bubb bubb a lot, can you guess what the words are? Shoe and bubbles, she is all crazy about shoes. She loves walking around in her pink shoes or her sandals all day long. And of course bubbles she loves them so much she starts shaking, waving her arms and making happy sounds WEEEEEEEE. Hubby and I call her our little vibrating baby, it's really funny. I have to see if I can get it on camera.

Hope you all have a great day tomorrow with your loved ones. And be safe, and check the regulations in your area on fireworks. Don't drink too much and if you have kids, remember seeing their mommy or daddy too drunk will scare them. Not saying don't drink at all, don't let it go too far and out of control.  Remember it's a fun day for everyone of all ages.

Happy Independence Day.

Sunday April 15 Challenge.

This weeks stamping Sunday challenge in the FB group Adventures In Stamping was a tie between:
More than 2 images on nail or Stamping over gradient base. And since it was a tie we could do either one or both. I decided to stamp over gradient base. So I looked at my polish collection and I guess lack of sleep lately   is not making it any easier to decide what colors to use or what plates to pull out.
But I ended up with my 3 crappy holo's from Nubar, they worked well as gradient. Still can't see much of the holo efffect, even thought about applying a coat of my top coat with SpectraFlair in it to get some holo. But decided against it, so I can show you why I don't like my Nubar holo's.

I used Brilliant (not at all), Treasure (the purple in this is nice) and Absolute (crap?)...... Sorry, can't really help my self. And then I used Dashica SdP 12 and Konad special white.

Other than that I plan to go to Walmart today and hunt down some Pure Ice polishes to stamp with, and look for other polishes I just have to get. And of course get my polish removers and see if they have SH Triple Strong. Oh, and check if my Walmart has any of those stamping kits.

Happy stamping.

Nail Polish Haul.

Is there a better way to welcome spring than getting nail polishes? Well, it may not be the best way but it's pretty good. To add some color to your nails after a long cold and dark winter, besides I bet that quite few people out there are adding some new spring and summer outfits to their wardrobe.
Why not add some new colors to go on your nails too? Well, I did.....
I saw some polishes from Nubar I really wanted to try out. I've never tried any polishes from Nubar before so decided to order a few polishes from them. I ended up getting 7 polishes  from their Prisms and Royal Gem Collection. I only had to wait 2 days and my order was in my mail box. Super fast shipping.... YAY...
The Royal Gem collections are all gem colors with glitter, and the Prisms Collection are holo's (I LOVE HOLO's like China Glaze OMG collection). I'm getting low on my OMG colors so I've been looking for new ones and found that Nubar have heir own collection.
Then I went to Wal Mart and I saw an Essie polish for 1 $ so I had to grab that, was clearance and only had that one color but still good deal for an Essie polish. So after a trip to Kohl's and my new polishes I am ready for spring to come my way. Here they are, the new adds for my growing nail polish collection:

from The Royal Gem Collection:
Amethyst, Emerald, Ruby & Sapphire

Prisms Collection + Essie:
Treasure, Absolute, Brilliant & Miami Nice
