Wanted to do an other manicure again.....

A couple of days ago I got some really sad news from a friend, who had to face something horrible a few months back. The loss of a little baby girl. October is SIDS or Infant Death awareness month. So I felt like I have to share my awareness manicure again in my friend's and the little baby girl's honor. But then after a while I decided to make an other one and also make a youtube tutorial  out of it too. So many nail gurus' have done one for breast cancer, so I tried to figure out what kind of images I wanted to show on my nails to support  Infant Death and SIDS awareness.

This is a collaboration (my first since I started the blog world and youtube) post with Pamela a very sweet lady I met in one of the nail groups I'min on FB. She also wanted to show her support to Infant Death Awareness and SIDS awareness month. Thank you so much, Pamela. I am so blessed I met you in AIS, you're an amazing person that have become a really good friend.

But I also wanted to add two beautiful poems I found. I hope you will take your time to read them.


Poem 1:
I'm going to tell you something
I hope you'll never know.
I'll tell you how a heart can break
And tears can constant flow.
I lost my baby girl you see, 
An angel in my eyes.
God chose to take her hand one day
And led her to the skies.
But please do not forget my child
She was a person too
And forever she will live 
Inside of me and you.
So, please don't tell me
That time will heal my pain

Can bring her back again.

Poem 2.
Remembering

Go ahead and mention my child.
The one that died, you know.
Don't worry about hurting me further.
The depth of my pain doesn't show.
Don't worry about making me cry.
I'm already crying inside.
Help me to heal by releasing
The tears that I try to hide. 
I am hurt when you just keep silent,
pretending he didn't exist.
I'd rather you mention my child,
Knowing that he has been missed.
You asked me how was I doing.
I say "pretty good" or "fine".
But healing is something ongoing, 
I feel it will take a lifetime. 

To my dear friend, I love you forever and am blessed to have you as a friend. Together we will remember little J forever. This post is also  to my other friend Lin that I showed my support for when I posted this manicure the first time this, is also for your little angel. And anyone who has lost their little sweet babies so sudden, I hope you can find some comfort in these poems.

Dashica's Dash Set.

I was so exited when Shirley announced she was releasing a 20 plate set, and was really happy when I saw the previews she showed us a few weeks ago. And I knew I had to add this set to my collection.
Now holding them in my hands there is no doubt this is my favorite set ever. The designs are as amazing as always. And even tho the plates are smaller than the normal sized ones they still have the same size on the images. The designs are amazing, I don't know how Shirley comes up with all these designs, they are all unique. And there are some known characters on these plates, like Sponge Bob, Hello Kitty, 007 logo. She has also added some images for holidays like Halloween and Christmas.
Yes, this set costs more than other plate sets out there. But after seeing these images first hand I am glad I got them, I will test them out later.
I am sorry, but on some of the pictures the camera had a fit on me. But here's the pictures of the Dash set:

The only thing about this folder is that the plastic sheets have a matte finish to them, so you have to be in good light to be able to see all the details of the images.
